Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Smahi Inc (“Smahi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit smahiinc.com or use our apps, including Autipal. We build software for children, so protecting privacy — especially kids’ privacy — is a first principle, not an afterthought.
1. Our privacy-first approach
We design our products to collect as little personal information as possible. Across Smahi apps:
- We do not show third-party advertising to children.
- We do not embed third-party advertising trackers or ad SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
- Several features are designed to work offline, so data can stay on the device wherever practical.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you contact us through the website form or by email, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to send so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) to deliver and secure the site. In our apps, we may collect limited, aggregated diagnostic or crash information to keep the app stable. Where this is used, it is configured to avoid collecting more than is needed to fix problems.
What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data from children except where a specific, clearly-explained feature requires it with appropriate consent.
3. Children’s privacy (COPPA & similar laws)
Autipal and several of our apps are intended for children. We comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar rules such as GDPR provisions for minors. We do not require children to provide personal information to use the core features of our apps, and we do not condition a child’s participation on disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary.
Where a feature would involve a child’s personal information, we seek verifiable parental consent as required by law, and a parent or guardian may review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child’s information by contacting us at manju@smahiinc.com.
4. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and apps.
- To respond to your questions, support requests, and feedback.
- To keep our products safe, stable, and secure.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who host our site, deliver our apps, or process app-store payments on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Legal & safety recipients when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of children, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — if Smahi is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Contact-form messages are retained only as long as needed to handle your request.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to those who need it.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and individuals in the EEA/UK (GDPR) have specific rights, including the right not to be sold or subjected to discrimination for exercising them. To make a request, email manju@smahiinc.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
9. International users
We are based in United States. If you use our products from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries with different data-protection laws. We take steps to protect it consistent with this Policy.
10. App stores and third-party platforms
Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases and downloads are handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of our products after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
