Smahi Inc — a software studio for kids

Careful software for children, built for a cause.

Live on the App Store

Autipal.

Words, stories, and a plan for everyday life.

Autipal is a parent-managed companion for autistic children: a tap-to-speak picture board, personalised social stories, and one clear care plan — together in a calm app parents control.

iPhone & iPad · Ages 4–12 · Families & caregivers

AAC board
Tap pictures to build a sentence and Autipal speaks it aloud. The layout stays familiar, and it works offline after the first sync.
Social stories
Explain a haircut, a fire drill, or a new classroom with short illustrated stories written in your child's name.
Parent-reviewed AI
AI drafts the missing tile, story, or care-plan step. Nothing reaches your child until a parent approves every word and image.
Care plan
Turn a difficult routine into small, editable steps — and keep home, school, and care on the same page.

Mission

One product, one cause — and the numbers in the open.

Most software for kids is built to capture attention and resell it. We build the opposite: small, well-made tools that do one useful thing, respect a child's time, and route real money to the community the app is about.

The model is specific. Every Smahi product is paired with one cause it genuinely relates to. A fixed share of that product's revenue goes to organisations working on that cause — and we publish the amount.

  1. 01

    Focused, not addictive

No feeds, no streaks, no ads aimed at children. Each app has a clear job and a clear end state.

  2. 02

    A cause per product

The cause isn't a logo in the footer. It's chosen to match what the app is for, and it's named.

  3. 03

    Numbers in the open

We'll publish the give-back percentage and dollar amount per product, per year, so parents can verify the promise.

Giving

What we give, in the open.

The give-back is a design constraint, not an afterthought. Revenue comes from honest, clearly priced purchases — never from ads or from selling a child's attention — and each product's share goes to its paired cause.
